What would you like from me?

Birth Doula

I believe that every woman deserves unconditional support during labour and birth. I have the ability to give you continuity of care. I will also provide emotional and physical support. I am committed to being an advocate for you and your baby.

Benefits of having a doula are:

Continuity of care: From the moment of first contact, I'll be there to support you every step of the way.

Personalised care: Our antenatal sessions with give me the chance to get to know you and those close to you. I will have chance to gain knowledge of what is important to you during and after your birth and to understand what you'd like from me in my role as your doula.

AdvocacyI will be there to advocate for you and your family at one of your most vulnerable times.

Postnatal Support

Did you know, in the first year a newborn baby will have up to 8 routine appointments with a healthcare provider. Women only have ONE!

Allow me to help you navigate your 4th trimester.

Benefits of having postnatal support are:

Continuity of care: From the moment of first contact, I'll be there to support you for as long as you need me.

Personalised care: I will be there to help in a way that YOU need.

Guidance: I will provide you with evidence based information to guide you to make choices with confidence.

Practical support: Feeding support, entertaining your other children, light household duties, walking the dog, holding the baby while you practice self-care ie. catching up on sleeping, taking a shower.

Emotional support: A listening ear without judgement.
